Verev Labs Yerevan, Republic of Armenia Last updated: March 2026

1. Overview

Verev Labs ("Verev", "we", "us") operates a drone surveying and construction data service. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

By using our website (verevlabs.com), our client portal, or any of our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

Plain language summary: We collect only what we need to deliver your service. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except to run the service. Your site data belongs to you.

2. Data We Collect

We collect data in two categories: data you give us directly, and data generated by the drone flights we conduct on your behalf.

Information you provide:

  • Name, company name, phone number, and email address when you contact us or sign up for a plan.
  • Site address, GPS coordinates, or cadastral reference numbers provided during onboarding.
  • Payment information processed through our payment provider (we do not store card details directly).
  • Communications you send us by email, contact form, or phone.

Data generated by flight operations:

  • Aerial imagery captured by our drone over your site during scheduled missions.
  • Processed outputs: orthomosaic maps, Digital Surface Models, Digital Terrain Models, 3D meshes, and point clouds.
  • Volumetric calculations, analyst notes, and executive PDF reports.
  • Flight logs including GPS coordinates, timestamps, and mission parameters.

Technical data from website and portal use:

  • IP address and browser type collected via Plausible Analytics (privacy-first, no cookies, no fingerprinting).
  • Pages visited and session duration — aggregate only, not tied to individuals.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to deliver and improve the services you have engaged us for:

  • Scheduling and conducting drone flight missions at your site.
  • Processing aerial imagery and generating your deliverables (orthomosaics, 3D models, analyst reports).
  • Provisioning and maintaining your client portal dashboard.
  • Communicating with you about flights, delivery, scheduling changes, and your account.
  • Generating invoices and managing payments.
  • Improving our processing pipeline and service quality using anonymised, aggregated data.

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build profiles for resale. We do not use your site imagery for any purpose other than delivering your contracted deliverables.

4. Data Storage & Retention

Your aerial imagery and processed outputs are stored on our WebODM server hosted at maps.verevlabs.com. This server is operated by Verev Labs and is not shared with third parties except for the infrastructure provider.

We retain your data as follows:

  • Active clients: All flight data retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months after cancellation.
  • One-time flight clients: Data retained for 30 days of portal access, then archived for 6 months, then deleted.
  • Contact and billing data: Retained for 5 years from last transaction for legal and accounting purposes.
  • Communications: Email records retained for 3 years.

Export before cancellation: When you cancel your plan, we notify you and provide a 30-day window to export all your data (GeoTIFF, point cloud, PDF reports) before deletion.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or site data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Infrastructure providers: Hosting and server providers who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
  • Payment processors: Your billing data is handled by our payment provider under their own privacy policy.
  • Legal obligation: If required by Armenian law, court order, or regulatory authority, we may disclose data as legally required. We will notify you where permitted.
  • At your direction: If you share a portal link with a third party (engineer, investor, contractor), that is your choice. We provision only what you request.

Site imagery captured during your flights is never shared with other clients, never used for training AI models, and never published publicly without your explicit written consent.

6. Airspace & Flight Compliance

All drone operations conducted by Verev Labs comply with the regulations of the Unified Civil Aviation Authority of Armenia (UCAA). This includes maintaining flight logs, respecting restricted zones, and obtaining any required mission authorisations.

Flight logs — including GPS waypoints, altitude records, and timestamps — are retained for regulatory compliance purposes for a minimum of 24 months regardless of your subscription status.

Third-party airspace: Our flight missions do not capture imagery beyond the boundaries of your declared site. If neighbouring properties appear incidentally in imagery due to site geometry, that data is not distributed and is cropped or masked on request.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Portability: Request your site data in standard formats (GeoTIFF, LAS/LAZ point cloud, PDF).
  • Objection: Object to processing of your data in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@verevlabs.com. We will respond within 14 business days.
